Greetings NCCC-134 Committee Members and Interested Parties

The program brochure for the 2007 meeting.  Revised 04/03/07.

The NCCC-134 Committee has secured the Illini Center (of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana) in Chicago for the April 16-17, 2007 meeting.  It is good to be going back to Chicago.  Thanks go to Joost Pennings for his work on this.  The staff at the Illini Center have put us in the conference rooms used for the University of Illinois Executive MBA Program.  The meeting facilities should be outstanding.

The Illini Center is located at 200 S. Wacker Dr. in Chicago.  It is accross the street from the Sears Tower and between the CME and CBOT.  The link is http://www.illinicenter.uiuc.edu/

As we are not meeting at a hotel, please keep than in mind when planning your travel.  I have reserved a block of rooms with the Club Quarters.  The local phone number is 312-214-6400.  There are two locations in Chicago -- one close to the Illini Center and one close to Michigan Avenue -- there is a block in both.  Please identify yourself as with the University of Illinois (this is a University of Illinois function) and use group code "UIL415".  The rate is $128 per night.

The PDF Call for Papers is linked here.  Call for Papers.  Please right-click and Save As...  And feel free circulate the document.

An example two-page proposal is linked here.  Example NCCC-134 Proposal.  (Please right-click and Save As...)  Proposals must be submitted as an PDF attachment to an email to Stephen.Koontz@ColoState.Edu by January 15, 2007.  Please include "NCCC-134" and the authors last names in the PDF filename.  Those submitting proposals should use an email address to which they wish to have the reply sent.  The NCCC-134 Executive Committee will attempt to have reviews conducted and the program developed by the end of January.  Please notice the review process is not blind.  There is no limit on the number of proposals on which a single author can be associated, but it is considered in the review process.

The meeting program will be posted on this site when it is written.  As will the Author Guidelines.

An example meetings paper is linked here.  Example NCCC-134 Paper.

Thanks and please feel free to email me with any questions.
